Mainstage Morgantown in Morgantown, West Virginia opened its doors last year in what use to be a bar called Chick n Bones. With a completely redone interior, Mainstage has brought famous DJs and Bands from around the world to the new concert venue that has taken over downtown Morgantown. This past summer Mainstage decided to buy the old amphitheater that was done along the Monongahela River front. They also have renovated the amphitheater so that concerts could be played again on the stage.
This Thursday Grace Potter takes the stage for the grand opening of the new outdoor amphitheater.
Grace Potter recently left behind her long time band the Nocturnals and is on a solo tour currently. She will be playing with Muddy Magnolis as her opener for her September Tour. Mainstage Morgantown is bringing a local painter Evan Groseclose to do live painting for this first outdoor show. It is sure to be a great time and if you would like to purchase tickets to attend you can visit the Maintstage Website.
